Nutrition & Weight management:
The Nutrishape weight management system is created by Dr. Kevin Huffman, and designed to help clients not only lose weight but educate and train them how to keep that weight off. We offer a customized weight management plan that will address the client’s tastes, hunger levels and craving. The programs offered are:
Low-calorie diets 1200kcal for women/1500kcal for men
Very low-calorie diets 600-800kcal
Protein sparing modified fast (1.5 gm/kg IBW)
Vitamin and nutritional supplement
Ready to eat healthy meals and shakes
Individual counseling with a dietitian
Group counseling with a dietitian
Behavior modification
Our professional staff will be working with the patient’s own physician utilizing standard behavioral modification programs developed and administered through our corporate bariatric medical training center will help patients overcome the maladaptive behaviors that led to their excessive weight. All this will be under the supervision of our medical director Dr. Kevin Huffman.
Dr, Kevin Huffman, Bariatric Medical Director, holds board certifications in both Family Practices and Bariatric Medicine. He has over 20 years of clinical experience in the field of bariatric (weight Management), treating
more than 10,000 overweight and obese patients through his five privately held weight loss centers. Dr. Huffman is recognized nationally as a bariatric medical expert and is a former board member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, founding member and two-term President of the Ohio Society of Bariatric Physicians and served on the bariatric medical committee of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
Performance Nutrition is an important component of any athletes program. With a proper nutritional diet, you will experience an increase in energy, stamina and endurance during play or practice, as well a better recovery after the game. At our Cafe, we offer recovery shakes to help each athlete complete their nutritional programs.
One on One
A weekly meeting one on one with a nutrition consultant to evaluate goals such as weight loss, weight gain, or nutrient delivery for optimum performance. We will evaluate and design a proper nutrition program that will meet the specific needs while focusing on the missing essential nutrition components and supplements. We'll help you adopt a healthier lifestyle by teaching you how to: read food labels, estimate portion sizes, and plan healthy meals and snacks.
Group Nutrition
This four session program will teach the fundamentals of nutrition relevant to athletes of all ages. Classes will be taught in groups with no more than 10 athletes per session. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend. Your initial session will be a nutrition overview class that will teach you about all the essential macronutrients, vitamins and minerals. The following 3 sessions can be chosen based on your interests and nutritional needs.
